Grant Request Deadlines

Applications for grants from the Knight Foundation Donor Advised Fund are now being accepted for programs addressing these guidelines. Please submit applications with required attachments by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Expected announcement of awards will be early June 2012.

Two funding cycles are available each year with application deadlines in March and October. Award announcements will be made in May and December. Disbursement of the annual 5% allocation will be completed based on the program qualifications outlined in the submitted applications.

The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation has appointed a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to work with the Long Beach Community Foundation on recommendations for these grant awards. The CAC meets twice per year to review submitted applications and make recommendations for funding appropriate projects.
